Public attitudes to wind turbine services

Did you know a Government study in 2003 found:

• 94% of people who live near wind farms are in favour of them
• 85% of the general public support onshore and offshore wind energy
• 82% support a general increase of wind energy

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but studies regularly show that turbines are considered an interesting feature of the landscape. Indeed, many wind turbine developers are even asked if they will turn their turbines into tourist attractions!
