Solar PV Explained

Did you know, that in a single hour the sun transmits more energy to the earth’s surface than the world uses in a year?

To collect this energy you use a solar collector, in this case a solar panel made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells. These cells then convert sunlight into DC electricity (even on a cloudy day) which you can use to run your household appliances via an AC inverter. Don’t forget you’ll also get paid for the energy you produce and feed into the Grid!
